The thoughtfully bred dam line of Noria (Klausing, Diepholz) provided among other the licensed stallions Scolari by Sandro Hit, Fürst Rousseau by Rousseau, Dramatic by Don Frederico and His Highness by Hohenstein, the state premium mares Dynastie by De Niro (1a premium RNS 2002 and 1g premium BSS 2002) and Grace Kelly by Grenadier (LWS champion mare 1989, RNS 1985 and 1988 premium and BSS 1986 1d premium), as well as the Grand Prix horses Crip by Consul and Whisper (VA) by Wolkenstein II.
The full brother of Flanell, Fats Domino, is schooled for the major sport by European Team Champion Fabienne Lütkemeier.
- In 2016, Flanell won a qualifying test for the German National Young Horse Championships and achieved two placings. At the foal auction at the Klosterhof, his son Final Touch (Flanell – De Niro – Andiamo) was sold for 30,000 Euros and his filly First Love (Flanell – De Niro – Dimaggio) for 15,000 Euros.
- In 2015, Flanell won a novice dressage test. His first year of foals convinced with top motions and finest exterior.
- In 2014, Flanell won and placed in riding horse tests. He finished his 30-day performance test with very good marks, including 8.63 points for rideability and 9.13 points for interior.
