The stallion's welfare must come first in this case as well, even if it is a bitter decision.
Since the lease contract between Klosterhof Medingen and the owners of Va'Pensiero ends after the 2022 breeding season anyway, the stallion is already no longer with us in Medingen at this point of time.
We are very grateful for the time we were able to experience with this stallion and look back with great joy on the successes he was able to celebrate during his time here at the Klosterhof. We are also looking forward to the future and are excited about the influence he will have on breeding with his 3 foal seasons.
We wish Va'Pensiero and his owners around Felix Becker all the best for his sporting future and will follow this with great interest.
