The Bundeschampion Va‘ Pensiero is father of the sensational top priced foal Vie en Rose at the 2nd online auction for foals. At 50,000 Euros the curtain closed for the outstanding filly with Lot No. 5 by Va’Pensiero - De Niro, bred and exhibited by Zuchthof up‘n Sande. A client from Germany was the lucky one and one the bid up.

The second most expensive foal was Lot 1, a descendant by In My Mind - Herbstkönig called Insider. The colt bred by Lena Thoenies moved to Austria for 16,000 Euros.

Lot 15 Danira by Danone - De Niro (breeder: Elisabeth Wegert) was sold to Russia for 15,500 Euros.

Buyers from Germany, Austria, Ukraine, USA, Australia, Switzerland, Lithuania and Russia spent 12,300 Euros in average for the 19 offered foals.

The next auction in the Klosterhof Medingen will be on 2021, September 25th, when the gates will open for the 32nd autumnal auction of Klosterhof Medingen, at which both riding horses and foals of our stallions will be offered!
