On January 31st, the yearly stallion show took place at the Klosterhof Medingen - this year via live stream on ClipMyHorse.
The program included the presentation of the stallions and some offspring, the honoring of successful breeders and the raffle for a free covering.
The event was moderated and commented on by Jan Tönjes and Burkhard Wahler.
In addition to the well-known stallions of the station, there are four hopeful newcomers this year:
The recently licensed Trakehner premium stallion Dameron has been breed on the Medinger. At his first public appearance, the Helium son impresses in wonderful self-carriage and with fantastic trot-mechanic.
Kataro has everything that characterizes a modern sport horse: he is impressively framed, full of type, with a beautiful face and the absolute best interior.
His father Karajan did not perform live this year because he is currently with Christian Temme to concentrate on his sporting career.
The stallions Tik Tok and Emperor only arrived at the Klosterhof Medingen a few days before the stallion show and were presented in hand.
Christoph Wahler discovered the Totilas grandson Tik Tok by Glock’s Toto Jr. during the 1st preselection for the KWPN licensing in Holland. The charismatic young stallion with three impressive basic gaits and a fine interior knows how to excite from the first moment.
Emperor v. Eldorado van de Zeshoek was champion stallion at the DSP licensing in Neustadt / Dosse. The sympathetic young stallion impresses with strength and manner paired with type and elegance.
As a final highlight, the best stallions in Germany: Bundeschampion Va ’Pensiero and Vice Bundeschampion Damaschino! They know how to enthusiasm their audience and we are immensely proud of the enormous response that we received online about these stallions.
We would like to thank all spectators who took part in the stallion show from home and we look forward to welcoming you again in person to the Klosterhof Medingen soon!
