Mit einem sensationellen Ergebnis schließt die diesjährige Herbstauktion!

20 riding horses were sold on Saturday evening at the Klosterhof Medingen for an average price of 77,025 euros. Seven horses cost over 100,000 euros.
At 165,000 euros, Dreambay was the most expensive riding horse paid. The four-year-old gelding by Damaschino-Fidertanz was worth 165,000 euros to buyers from Lower Saxony. Dreambay was already the top price as a foal in 2020.
Auctioneer Burkhard Wahler struck four times at a bid of 150,000 euros. Quallacio by Q-Sieben, who has an impressive gallop, went to buyers in Luxembourg. Damasso by Damaschino-Latimer, maternal half-brother to Feldrose, who is internationally successful in Grand Prix sport under the Finnish rider Emma Kanerva, went to Sweden for the same price.
The Trakehner premium stallion Goldfieber by Shavalou, five years old and this year vice champion in his age group in his breeding area, was sold to North Rhine-Westphalia for 150,000 euros. And finally, the Damaschino son Diorissimo also achieved this hammer price.
The stallion St. Emilion was the top price of the 28 auction foals. His son Sir Amazing achieved the top price of 27,000 euros three weeks after his mother Amazing Figuera TR OLD v. Bonds-Donnerschwe was in the Federal Championship final. Sir Emilio v. St. Emilion-Bon Coeur changed hands for 25,000 euros. The average price of the foals is just under 11,000 euros.
Buyers from France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Great Britain and Holland were represented at the auction. "I was convinced of the quality of the riding horses from the very beginning this year. I am all the more pleased that our customers have also recognized this and that it is reflected in the excellent result,” says Christoph Wahler, summing up the successful event.
