With Escalito, the Klosterhof acquired another modern top stallion: the second runner-up of the North Rhine-Westphalian main licensing.
This stallion owns a beautiful face and a good neckline and he captivates with his athletic body and correct foundation. Escalito has sensational movements and shines with outstanding trot mechanics.
His very special pedigree makes him highly interesting for breeding: the successful and up-to-date blood of Ehrentusch combined with the pure Holstein jumping line 3558.
Multiple champion Escolar qualified with 80 % for the final of the Nürnberger Burgpokal under his rider Hubertus Schmidt. He creates quite a stir with his offspring in Westphalia.
The grandmother is full sister of international jumping horses BB Cayenne and Miss Saigon (1.60 meter jumping). The dam line provided among other the licensed stallions Calesco and Casenius by Colman, Contrache by Contender, Conraldik by Contender and the international show jumpers Gran Corrado – Yves Houtacher and Constante – Rodrigo Pessoa.
We think that Escalito with his strong jumping blood is a perfect addition to our breeding station in our mission to foster a powerful lift-off of the hind hooves and strong backs.

Escalito is a stallion who should be able to improve trot and gallop and who could be of interest especially for large framed mares.

  • In 2018, Escalito finished his 14-day-performance-test with the score of 9.0 points for rideability.  Escalito won and was placed in riding horse tests.
