Sire Cullinan Du Borget B convinces with outstanding jumping qualities regarding ability, technique and bascule. At the Southern German licensing in Munich, he was rewarded for this with a score of 10. He passed his sport test with the highest score of the day, 9.0, for his rideability. In 2019, as a 7-year-old, he achieved a sensational series of successes in international youngster tours up to 5-star level. On the occasion of the Southern German licensing days in January 2020, Cullinan du Borget was awarded the Diamant Preis 2020 as the most successful licensed 7-year-old stallion in the entire breeding area of the German Sport Horse Association (DSP). As of the 2022 season, he switched to being ridden by German Children's Champion Emma Bachl.
His sire Diamant de Semilly produced three German licensing winners, Diarado (2007 Holstein), Dicapo (2011 OS) and Diamant de Quidam (2015 OS). The dam Ombre De Toscane is one of the best dam lines in France with the highest possible breeding score of 10/10. She already produced two licensed sons, Tschouk De Toscane and Songe De Toscane under Denis Lynch. The dam's sire Quick Star delivered true "hussar rides" with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and won several Grand Prix. Laudanum xx in the third generation is probably the most influential thoroughbred in French warmblood breeding. He himself competed in international show jumping with Pierre Durand and was, among other things, an Olympic competitor, Nations Cup winner and winner of mighty jumping competitions. With Uriel and the Almé Z sire Ibrahim, outstanding show jumpers are also in the back generations. Cullinan du Borget descends from the Thoroughbred family 32, from which, among others, the important sportsman and top sire Dollar du Murier (Eric Navet-FRA) comes. Another top-class sport horse from this dam line is the licensed stallion Rahotep De Toscane (Philippe Rozier).
Cordello's dam Negrill comes from the Holstein line 1298, which is known as the "Lord line" and, in addition to the century stallion Lord by Ladykiller xx, produced top horses such as Livius (Peter Luther), L'Eperon (Carsten Otto Nagel) and Pedro (Thomas Frühmann).
Negrill already produced the licensed stallion Peppermint Blue with Plot Blue, as well as Reppers Delight (Hauke Luther), who won advanced (S) level show jumping competitions. She is the granddam of Zaccorado Blue, who is currently internationally successful under David Will.
With Caretino and Carthago, the top sires of the Holstein breed are on the dam's side. Caretino himself achieved victories and placings in international show jumping competitions under Bo Kristoffersen and later Ludger Beerbaum. More than 70 of his offspring were licensed throughout Germany, one of his most prominent sons is certainly Casall ASK, who was one of the best show jumpers in the world internationally under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. The lifetime earnings of his offspring will reach over six million euros in 2022 (FN).
Carthago was twice successful at the Olympic Games under Jos Lansink and produced numerous highly successful sport horses. These include Cash (Marco Kutscher) and Classix Girl (Sören von Rönne). According to FN statistics, the lifetime earnings of Carthago's offspring amount to almost 4.5 million euros.

In 2023, Cordello passed his 50-day-stallion-test in Neustadt-Dosse with a final score of 8.28, he received a 9.0 for his interior as well as 8.5 and 8.0 for jumping ability and manner.
